More on The DeO Media-shuttleTM

A DeO Media-shuttle is accessed via URL.  Each Media-shuttle has security attributes attached to it.  The URL is encrypted using an MD5 hash algorithm and has a configurable expiration attribute attached to it as well.  This protects the content provider from having their content freely distributed throughout the web.  For example, once the end user accesses their content delivered by the DeO Media-shuttle by accessing the URL supplied to them, the content delivered by the shuttle can be consumed in its entirety, but the URL associated with the shuttle expires rendering it useless for consumption by others.   If the subscriber has paid for multiple views of the content then they may access the media-shuttle subsequent times with a fresh URL assigned to the shuttle.  All this is under control of the DeO Intelligent Media Deployment PlatformTM.

The access point for the Media-shuttle can be restricted to control piracy.  For example, the Media-shuttle trigger generates a personalized shuttle.  But where the shuttle is accessed from, is under control of the DeO Intelligent Media Deployment Platform as per the rules established and defined by the Content Provider.  The trigger may give coordinates to a consumer account area and the Media-shuttle may be imbedded in that account area, thus the consumer never has access to the URL.  Even if access to the URL were gained they would not be able to access the Media-shuttle outside of the account area.  If the content provider leaves this platform control undefined, then access to the Media-shuttle is open from anywhere.  The choice is entirely up to the Content Provider.
